イスキア島 Ischia

先週イスキア島、ナポリ、ポンペイとアマルフィ海岸に行ってました。海の色が凄く青くて何処から空が始まるのか海が始まるのかわからないくらいでした。

We were in Southern Italy last week visiting Ischia, Naples, Pompeii and Amalfi.  The color of the ocean was so blue that I almost couldn't tell where the sky starts and the ocean starts.

Ischia is where the red dot is.

フェリーに50分くらい乗船。

It was about 50min. ride on a ferry.

フェリーからの景色はとっても綺麗でした。

The view from the ferry was beautiful.

丘の上のホテルが私たちの滞在したホテルです。

The hotel on top of the hill is where we stayed.

こんな綺麗な夕焼けに迎えられました。

Such stunning sunset welcomed us.

秋のサインがちらほら。

Some sign of autumn were there.

 顔が見えますかー？犬の顔。

Do you see a face?  A face of a dog.

 このお部屋とっても可愛い。不思議な国のアリスを思い出す。

This room was so cute.  It reminds me of the Alice in wonderland.

窓がとっても可愛かったです。

I loved the windows.

 夕焼け大好き！　I love sunset!

食べ物絵画 Food Art

イタリア人のお友達が送ってくれたこの写真。彼女のお友達が作ってくれたそうです。これ凄すぎます。真似してみようかな。。
An Italian friend of mine sent this photo to me.  This was made by her friend and given to her.  This is amazing.  Maybe one day I will try making one myself.

秋子は今朝洗濯カゴに飛び込んだようだ。どこへ行ったのだろう？

Akiko must have dived into the laundry basket this morning.  Where did she go?

南瓜の季節 Pumpkin Season

  皆様コンニチハ。今ミュンヘンは南瓜シーズン。お店でも市場でも道端でもあちこちで南瓜が売られています。このカボチャ君めちゃ可愛いでしょう！南瓜を切ったら彼が。。
Hello, everyone!  Now here in Munich is the pumpkin season.  Pumpkins are sold in stores, markets, roadside and everywhere.  This pumpkin boy is so cute, isn't he?!  He appeared when I cut a pumpkin.

イタリア人お母さん、仲良しのお友達から南瓜のリゾットのレシピをもらいました。初めて作ってみました。
I got a recipe for pumpkin resotto from an Italian mom, a good friend, so I tried it for the first time.

 みてみて！とーっても美味しかったです。

Look, look!  It was delicious!

こちら日本に居る私の父。こんな大きな南瓜を育て今月収穫したそうです。大人3人がかりで畑からこのお店に展示するために運んだそうです。

Here is my father in Japan.  He grew such a huge pumpkin and harvested this month.  He said it took three adult to transfer this pumpkin from his farm to this store for display.

夫の手料理報告 Husband's Home Cooking Update

 タケちゃんが準備していたローストダックが土曜日の夕方に完成。

The roast duck TK had been preparing was done on Saturday evening.

 テーブルセットも良い感じ。何より素敵だったのは夕日の色とロゼのシャンパンの色がマッチしていた事。
The table setting was done nicely.  The best part of it was that the colors of the sunset and the rose champagne were matching.

お客様も私達も皆ローストダックを大変美味しく頂きました。

The guests and we all enjoyed the roast duck.  It was delicious.

夫の手料理 Husband's Home Cooking

 タケちゃんは凄く料理が上手です。私よりもずっと上手です。

T.K. is a very good cook.  He cooks way much better than I do.

 先週末は羊のフィレ肉をオーブンでローストしてくれました。

Last weekend, he roasted lamb fillet in an oven.

一緒にローストしたじゃが芋とズッキーニとマッシュルームも美味しかった！あ。。鶏肉も！
The roasted potatoes, zucchinis and mushrooms were so good as well!  ahh and chicken legs!

それから、赤ワインを煮詰めたソースも作ってお肉にかけてくれました。これがまた美味しかった！あ、それからそれから骨髄を焼いた物まで作ってくれた。どれも見た目も味も素晴らしい！

He even made the red wine reduction sauce which he poured over lamb.  Well, the sauce was delicious!  And and he even made grilled bone marrow!!!  They were all presented very pretty and tasted good, too!

タケちゃん土曜日にローストダックを作る準備をしています。早く食べたいな〜！料理が出来る夫を持って幸せだわ〜❤️

He is preparing to make a roast duck this Saturday.  I cannot wait to taste it!  I feel so blessed to have a husband who can cook so well ❤️
