ポンペイ Pompeii

ガイドさんについてポンペイ遺跡を歩く。

We joined the guided tour of Pompeii.

 

 

もしも歴史が好きな人であればこの場所大好き。でも、私みたいに歴史にちっとも興味のない人にとってはちとつまらない。。私は仁王立ちして、「皆さん早く歩きましょうよ〜！」と皆んなを待っていた。

If you like history, you would love this place.  But someone like myself who doesn't care about history at all find it a bit boring.  I was standing here and waiting for people thinking, "come on people, move!"

私がここで一番気に入ったのは、こんなスマイルマークのついた石。あちこちにいっぱいあったんだよ。昔の人もスマイルマーク好きだったのかな？
What I liked most at this place was those stones with smiley marks.  There were so many of them.  Maybe ancient people also liked smiley marks!?

アマルフィ海岸 Amalfi

とにかく海岸線が綺麗でした。海の色もとても綺麗でした。

The coastal line was just gorgeous.  The color of the ocean was so beautiful.

狭い道は観光バスや車が時に詰まってました。

The road was so narrow that buses and cars were jammed at times.

こんな所に家を建てるなんてすごい。

It's amazing how they built houses in such place.

ナポリ Naples

 先ずはナポリの港でこの巨大なクルーズ船にびっくり。

First of all, I was quite amazed by the size of this huge cruise ship.

このビルの向こうにも見えます。ビルよりも高い！
You can see the cruise ships behind buildings.  They are taller than buildings.

私のナポリの印象はちょっとごちゃごちゃ。渋滞、落書き、維持不足、整理不足。。

My impression of Naples was chaos.  Traffics, graffiti, not well maintained, not so organized etc.

 でも食べ物は美味しかったですよー！

But the food was good!

ピザはナポリからだそうな。。

Pizza is originated from Naples.

このショッピングアーケードはミランのと全く同じ？！でした。
This shopping arcade was exactly as same as the one in Milan.  I think..

イスキア島 Ischia

先週イスキア島、ナポリ、ポンペイとアマルフィ海岸に行ってました。海の色が凄く青くて何処から空が始まるのか海が始まるのかわからないくらいでした。

We were in Southern Italy last week visiting Ischia, Naples, Pompeii and Amalfi.  The color of the ocean was so blue that I almost couldn't tell where the sky starts and the ocean starts.

赤い点のところがイスキア島。

Ischia is where the red dot is.

フェリーに50分くらい乗船。

It was about 50min. ride on a ferry.

フェリーからの景色はとっても綺麗でした。

The view from the ferry was beautiful.

丘の上のホテルが私たちの滞在したホテルです。

The hotel on top of the hill is where we stayed.

こんな綺麗な夕焼けに迎えられました。

Such stunning sunset welcomed us.

秋のサインがちらほら。

Some sign of autumn were there.

 顔が見えますかー？犬の顔。

Do you see a face?  A face of a dog.

 このお部屋とっても可愛い。不思議な国のアリスを思い出す。

This room was so cute.  It reminds me of the Alice in wonderland.

窓がとっても可愛かったです。

I loved the windows.

 夕焼け大好き！　I love sunset!
