啓安の車 Joshua's Car

 こちらは1996年型トヨタRAV4 

This is 1996 TOYOTA RAV4.

これは啓安の初めての自分の車。

 This is Joshua's first car, his very own.

この車数えで２０歳で何もかもシンプル。ギアチェンジも窓も鍵も全てがマニアルです。

This car is almost 20 years old and everything is simple.  Transmission, windows, locks and all are manual. 

初めてのオイルチェンジ。ラジオもiPhoneがつなげる新しい物に自分で取り替えました。私も運転してみましたが、マニアルの車を運転するのは楽しい！

This is his first time changing car oil.  He changed the old radio system to the new one that can connect iPhone.   I tried his car and it was fun driving stick shift car!

お誕生日プレゼント My Birthday Present

 お誕生日のプレゼントが完成しました。このデザインは沢山あるレゴの中でも一番素晴らしい物の一つだと思います！！私の一番のお気に入りだな！
I just completed my birthday present.  I think this is one of the best design amongst all the legos and definitely my favorite.

秋の色 Fall Colors

週末、北カリフォルニアまで秋の色を探しに行って来ました。車でおよそ６時間。
We took a trip to N. California in search of fall colors.  It took about six hours by car.

 もう２週間くらい早く行けたら赤やオレンジの色も見つけられたと思うんですが、樹々はもうほとんど黄色で、葉が落ちている樹々も沢山ありました。
If we were there two weeks earlier, we probably could have seen more red and orange colors.  However now we saw more yellow colors and some trees were bare.

ガーガー。。quack quack.... 

 June Lake には強風で飛ばされた落ち葉が沢山浮いていました。

 雪が残ってたー！ We found some snow!

 噴火の後もありました。Saw some crater.

 ビショップと言う街のこのパン屋さんとーーっても美味しかったー！

This bakery in Bishop was very good!!

 狐と鶏のもも肉と犬が見える？

 日が昇るみたいだけど実は日没。Looks like sunrise, but it's sunset.

秋子のお誕生日 Akiko's Birthday

この小さい女の子は今ずっと年を重ねていますが、好奇心はそのままです。

彼女のあの頃の宝物はお人形とバッグ、でも彼女の今の宝物は大切な家族と友達。

神様に与えられた命に感謝しています。

This little girl is now much older, but her curiosity remains the same.

Her treasures at that time were a doll and a bag, but now her treasures are precious families and friends.  Thanking God for the life given to her.

 今月１０月はピンクリボン乳癌月間でした。お友達からピンクの綺麗な花を頂きました。感謝な事に私が乳癌の手術を受けてから何の問題もなく３年が経ちました。人生のその一時一時を楽しんでいます！
This month, October was National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  A friend gave me this beautiful pink flower.  Thanks to God that three years has passed without any complications since I had a mastectomy.  I am enjoying every moment of my life.

こちらは私のお誕生日のプレゼント〜！！！素晴らしいデザインのレゴです！完成品は後日写真を投稿します。
This is my birthday gift.  It's a wonderfully designed LEGO set.  I will post pictures when they are done.

ご近所の前庭ハロウィンバージョン Neighbor's Front Yards: Halloween

もうすぐハロウィンです。散歩に出た時にご近所さんの前庭の写真を撮りました。

Halloween is just around the corner.  I took pictures of my neighbors' yards as I went out walking.

こんなのは可愛いですよね。

The one like this is cute.

 このご近所さんはこんな大きい蜘蛛を手作りしたようです。

It seems that this neighbor made this gibantic spider.

 結構怖いのもあります。Some are quite scary.

私はこんなのが可愛くて好きです。
