オンラインクラス Online Class

数週間前からこのサイトの無料のオンラインクラスを始めました。若い時は勉強なんて大嫌いだったのに、今になってやっと勉強したくなりました。４０年前にやる気になっていたら、色んな事をもっと簡単に学べていたのになー。

I started a free online class from this site a few weeks ago.  I never liked studying when I was young, but finally now I want to study.  If I got motivated to study 40 years ago,  I would have learned things so much easier.

本当に沢山の大学が色んなクラスを提供しています。今は本当に色んな学ぶ方法があって感謝ですね。

There are so many universities offereing so many different classes.  We are so fortunate that we have so many methods of learning available nowadays.

買い物ルール No. 2 & 3 Shopping Rule No. 2 & 3

見てください、うちの冷蔵庫、食べ物でい〜〜〜っぱいです！買い物ルールNo.2「すっごくお腹がすいている時には、絶対に買い物に行かない！！」（ルールNo. 1はどこ？この間のはルールじゃなくて秘策でしたね。まあいっか。）ルールNo. 3「我が家は今３人家族！５人家族ではない！！」（ルールではないですけどね。。しっかり覚えとけって事です）
Take a look at this picture!  Our fridge is PACKED with food!!!  Shopping Rule No. 2  "Never go grocery shopping when you are very hungry!"  (Where is the rule No. 1? The previous one wans't really a rule, but a secret strategy.  Never mind!)  Rule No. 3, "Remember that we are a family of three people now, not five!!" (This isn't a rule either, but a reminder that is very important to remember!)

ピンクリボンクッキー Pink Ribbon Cookies

以前にも紹介した、素晴らしいクッキーを作るお友達が、今日こんなに可愛らしいピンクリボンクッキーをプレゼントしてくれました。本当になんて心優しい彼女、そして彼女のクッキーはとっても可愛らしい！！
I posted about the amazing cookies my friend made before and the same friend gave me this cute pink ribbon cookies as a gift today.  She is so sweet and her cookies are just so pretty.

乳がん啓蒙月間 Breast Cancer Awareness Month

昨日お友達が沢山のピンクの花束を抱えて来てくれてびっくり！え？っと思って考えたら、１０月は乳がん啓蒙月間なんです。

A friend surprised me with bunches of pink flowers yesterday!   I didn't realize right away that October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  

私が乳がんの手術を受けてから１年と２ヶ月。今はとっても元気で、がんの転移もどこにもなくって感謝です。

It's been a year and two months since I had a mastectomy.  Now I am so blessed to tell you that I am doing great and got no trace of cancer anywhere in my body.

こんなチャーミングなサプライズをしてくれた彼女の行動を私も見習おうと思いました。

It was such a charming surprise and I thought I should follow her example.

お手紙 A Letter

押し入れの中で探し物をしていたら、こんなものを見つけました。それは、やっとひらがなを書けるようになったよしあからのお手紙でした。お手紙は飛行機の形に折られていたようです。きっとそれはふわーっと飛んで来て私の前に着陸したんでしょうね。そこには「あけてください。」と書いてありました。

I was looking for something in the closet and I found this.  It's a letter from Joshua who just started to write Hiragana.  It seemed that it was folded into a paper airplane.  It probably came flying and landed in front of me.  And it said, "Please open."

これはどうやら私がぎっくり腰をした時に書かれたようです。（メモが残っていました。）めちゃ優しいねー！彼は今もとっても優しいです♡

Here is the translation of this letter, "Dear Mom,   Hope you'll get better soon.  Riki and I will help you when you recover.  From Joshua and Riki"  A note on the corner said this letter was written when I had  strained lower back.  He was so sweet and he still is!!  ♡
