足跡。。?Footprints... ?

ならぬ。。こちらはうんち跡。。。誰の？とかげです！ったく、そもそも嫌いなトカゲ、こんな風にどこでもおかまいなしにうんちして行くからもっと嫌い！
actually,they are not footprints.  They're droppings.  Who's? They are lizards'!!  As you know, I don't like lizards.  This sort of rude action of them makes me dislike them even more!

コーヒーコーラ Coffee Cola

コーヒーコーラ？？どんな味がするんだろう？興味津々の私が買わずにその場を離れる事は出来ませんでした。
Coffee Cola??  How does it taste like?  Curious Akiko couldn't leave the place without buying this product.

味はですねー。コーラにコーヒーリキュールを入れたような感じかな？コーヒーの味だけど、コーラの味。この次コーラとスタバのコーヒーでも買って混ぜて飲んでみよう！同じような味がするかな？ちなみに、このドリンク理輝は好き、ケビンは嫌いだそうです。
The taste is like the coke with coffee liqueur, maybe?!  It tastes like coffee, but also tastes like coke.  Maybe, I should go and buy a can of coke and a cup of Starbucks coffee and mix them and drink!  Wondered if the mixture would taste as same as this product.  FYI, Riki likes this drink, but Kevin hates it.

獅子舞と龍の舞 Lion Dance & Dragon Dance

昨夜ご近所さんあちこちで、新年のパーティーがあったらしく、賑やかでした。みんな楽しそうにおしゃべりしたり食べたりしていましたよ。
Our neighborhood was very lively last night.  There were many New Year parties going on and people were eating and chatting very happily.

お向かいのパーティーのフィナーレはこちらの獅子舞。

The finale of the across neighbor's party was the Lion Dance.

そして龍の舞。どちらも素晴らしかったです。
いったいこのお宅これらの舞の為にいくらお金を使ったんでしょうね？！
And this is the Dragon Dance.  They were both wonderful.
I just wondered how much money this neighbor spent for those dances?!

元朗 Yuen Long

元朗と言っても何処かさっぱりわからないでしょうね。ここは香港にある義両親の近くの街です。私たちは旧正月を香港の家族と一緒に祝ってきました。
You probably have no clue where Yuen Long is.  This is a small city close to my parents-in-law's house in Hong Kong.  We celebrated Lunar New Year with our family in Hong Kong.

こちらはお正月の為の花市へ行った時に撮った写真です。

沢山お正月を祝う花々が売られていました。

Many flowers for celebrating New Year were sold there.

そこで義理父が買ったのはこちら。あまり新年とは関係ないと思いますけど。これって、虫を食べちゃう植物？でしたよね。。
This is what my father-in-law bought there.  Probably, not much to do with New Year...  I think this is the plant that eats bugs, right??

新年快楽 Happy Lunar New Year

シンガポールはいくつかの文化、宗教があります。だから、新年も何回かありますね。例えば、普通の正月、旧暦の正月そしてイスラムの正月。
Singapore has a few different cultures and religions.  Therefore, there are a few new years.  For example, there are regular  New Year, Lunar New Year, and Islamic New Year.

札束 A bundle of notes

 すごいでしょう。ここに２シンガポールドルの紙幣が百枚。こんなピン札の札束なんて今まで見た事ないかも。。これが１万円札だったらいくら？そう言うのが欲しいなーー。
It's a WOW, right?!  Here are one hundred two-Singapore-dollar notes.  I don't remember seeing a bundle of new notes like this ever before.  If those were US-100-dollar notes, how much would that be?  I want a bundle of that!

 さて、これらのお札は旧正月の準備の為に私が今日入手したもの。紙幣は紅い封筒に入れて旧正月期間中に子供たちにあげます。ちなみに、家の子供たちだけの為ではありませんよ！
Anyway, I got those notes today in preparation for Lunar New Year.  Those notes will be put in red envelopes and given to children during the new year.  FYI, not just for our kids!

かたち Shape

 先日、カモメ食堂風シナモンロールに挑戦してみました。味はいつものと同じなんですけど、パン生地の切り方が違います。これもなかなか良いですねーー。
The other day, I tried this "KAMOME SHOKUDO" style cinnamon roll.  The taste is the same as the regular ones, but it's just the different way of cutting the dough. I like this one, too!

 ちょっとまって、パンが何かに見えてきました。ずっと昔から知ってるもの。。
Then, wait a second, the bread started to look like something I've known for a long time!
