これなあに？What are these?

お判りでしょうか？梅干しでもミートボールでもありません。。。

答えは、ケビンの扁桃腺で〜〜〜〜す！！面白いでしょう？！

You probably guessed already.  They are not meat balls nor dried fruits...

The answer is Kevin's tonsils!!  Quite interesting, right?!

ケビンは昔から扁桃腺が大きく、睡眠の時に良く呼吸が出来ない、閉塞型睡眠時無呼吸症候群が疑われたので、今回本人が決心して、扁桃腺摘出手術を受ける事にしました。術後の経過は良好です。家に帰ったら、お腹がすいて、ゼリーやプリンなどを食べていたのですが、物足りなくて、ご飯やお肉も少し食べていました。回復が早くって本当に安心しました。ひどかったいびきともこれでさようなら〜！

Kevin's tonsils was always big and he always had problem breathing during sleep.  It was diagnosed as obstructive sleep apnea, so Kevin decided that he wanted to get tonsillectomy.  He is doing very well after the surgery.  When he came home, he was so hungry that he ate jelly, pudding etc..  But those weren't so filling, so he ate some rice and meat.  I am so glad that he is recovering quickly.  Say good bye to heavy snoring~~!!!

デザイナーブランド Designer Brands

 土曜日にマリナベイサンズへ行ってきました。まあ沢山お店があること！！デザイナーブランドがいっぱいです。ルイスビトンは単独のビルがあり今建設中。私はチャイナタウンで買い物する方が好きかな。。。
We went to Marina Bay Sands on Saturday.  Wow, there were SO many shops and so many designer brand shops!!! Louis Vuitton has its own building currently under construction.  I think I prefer shopping in Chinatown.

スリアマン寺院 Sri Mariamman Temple

 これはスリアマン寺院。ヒンドゥー教のお寺です。

This is the Sri Mariamman Temple.  It's a Hindu temple. 

 ちょっと向こうは沢山のオフィスビル。このミックスが面白く見えました。

You can see many office buildings behind the temple.  I found it interesting to see both in a photo.

ルール Rules

今日、電車の中で撮った写真です。「ドリアン禁止」というのがありますよね、このドリアンと言う果物はとても臭いんです！でも罰金はとられないんですね。
This picture was taken on a train today. One of the rules says, "No durians."  Because this fruit, durian is very smelly!!  There is no fine for breaking this rule though.

こちらがドリアンです。私も初めての時はあまり好きじゃあありませんでしたが、今は大好きです。美味しいよぉ〜〜！！
Those are durians.  I didn't like them at first, but now I love them.  Delicious!!

今日のランチ Today's Lunch

昨日は色々とやる事があって、忙しかったので、通りのジューススタンドで、ジュースを買って飲みました。こちらは、コレステロールを下げると言うジュース。中身はきゅうり、苦瓜、セロリ、リンゴ。めちゃ苦かったです。良薬口に苦し？！
I had a lot to do yesterday and was busy, so I just bought some juice from a juice stand on the street.  This is the juice for lowering cholesterol.  The ingredients are cucumber,  bitter melon, celery and apple.  It was very bitter.  Good medicine is bitter in the mouth!
