抹茶！Green Tea!

日本に来たらいつも食べたいものの一つがこちらー。

This is something I always want to eat when I visit Japan.

 見て下さい、この高さ。姪と私の２つのお腹がいっぱいになりました。
Look at this height!  It's big enough to fill two stomachs, my niece's and mine.

こちらのお茶屋さんの抹茶アイスは格別おいしいですー！

The green tea ice cream from this green tea shop is extra tasty.

いつも子だくさんのお母さんに見られます。まあ、彼女達は私の娘同然ですけどねー。
It always seems like I have many kids.  Well, I do treat my nieces as if they were my daughters.

Here is the recipe for cooking green tea leaves after using the tea leaves for drinking.  Those who needs translations, please let me know.

ケビンおじちゃん Uncle Kevin

 今日は、ケビンのいとこが１歳半の子供を連れて遊びに来ました。子供好きなケビンおじちゃんが面倒を見てくれてまーす。
Today, Kevin's cousin came to visit us with her one and a half year old son.  Uncle Kevin who loves children looked after him.

庭には甘いサクランボが沢山なっています。

A lot of sweet cherries are growing in the garden.

２人とも可愛いー！They are both cute!

日本到着！Arrived in Japan!

 シンガポールを夜の９時半に出て、日本へ翌日朝の５時１５分に到着。羽田空港からモノレールに乗って新宿へ。
We departed Singapore at 9:30pm and arrived in Japan at 5:15am on the next day.  We took a monorail from Haneda Airport to Shinjuku.

 こちら、モノレールの車内。朝早かったのですいていました。
This is inside the monorail.  It was still early in the morning, so the train wasn't so packed.

 久しぶりに新幹線を見ました〜！日本の電車ってやっぱりかっこいー。
I haven't seen Shinkansens(Japanese Bullet Trains) for a long time.  They are so cool!!

 新宿駅で、朝ラーメン！いや〜、超美味しーー！！
We had Ramens(Japanese soup noodle) for breakfast.  They were super good!

大きなスーツケースは家族や友達、ご近所さんへのおみやげでいっぱい。小さい方は私達の洋服や小物。

One big suitcase is filled with souvenirs for family, friends and neighbors.  One small suitcase is for our clothes and personal items.  

大自然に囲まれた田舎の実家に到着です。左手の家は弟家族の家です。右側にちょっと見えるのが両親の家です。
We finally arrived at my country side home that is surrounded by Mother Nature.  The house on the left is my bother's house.  The one on the right is my parents' house.

美しい Beautiful

この家に引っ越してから、初めてこの色の花が咲きました。ほんとーーーーに美しい深い赤ピンクなんです。自然が作り出す色は本当に美しい。

This was the first time this flower of this color bloomed since we moved into this house.  It's truly beautiful dark red pink.  The color of the nature creates are amazingly beautiful!  

こちらはいつも咲いているもの。こちらもまた美しいです。
This is the one always blooming.  This one is also beautiful.

パッションフルーツ Passion Fruit

 こちら、両方ともパッションフルーツです。右の方がお店で良く見かけるもの。左のは今回初めて買いました。
Those are both passion fruits.  The one on the right is the one we see often in markets.  The one on the left is the one I've never bought before.

こちらは、ゴールデンハニーパッションフルーツといいます。香りがとてもユニークで、とても良い香り。皆さんにもぜひ試食していただきたいですー。
It's called golden honey passion fruit.  It is not as sour as the other one.  The flavor is very unique and very nice.  Wished I can let you try.

中学校卒業式 Middle school graduation

かっこいいでしょおおおお〜〜！！

Doesn't he look so handsome and cool?!!

今日は恵敏の中学校の卒業式。

Today was Kevin's middle school graduation.

 こんなちゃんとした招待状まで送られてきました。

Even such a proper formal invitation was sent home.

卒業生（８年生）は３３０人くらい。

There are about 330 graduates(8 graders).

 恵敏の後ろ姿しか撮れませんでした。

I was only able to take pictures of Kevin from behind.  

恵敏が高校を卒業するのは２０１６年。その年はどんな風になってるのかな？
Kevin will graduate from high school in 2016.  How would the year be like?

いや〜、私の恵敏ちゃんがいよいよ高校生だよ〜〜！！わ〜！
Wow, my baby Kevin is going to be a high school kid!  Wow!!

映画 Movie

家族で映画を見ても、私はだいたい半分位？のところで眠りに落ちてしまい、最後まで話を見た事がありません。でも、先日見たこの映画は、ちゃんと最初から最後まで見られました！ロマンチックコメディーという感じでしょうか。。面白かったです。

When our family watches movies together, quite often, I fall asleep in a half way of the movies and never watch the whole stories .  But, this movie we recently watched, I did finish watching it from the beginning   to the end.  It was romantic comedy and quite good.
