I was on a short trip alone since last Thursday. I left Kevin with my parents who just had his wisdom tooth removed and whose face was swollen.
First, I went to Tokyo on an express train and had nice vegetarian lunch with a friend and spent the night at another friend's house.
The next day, I flew to Hakata to visit an old friend whom I've know for over 30 years. This is Hakata-Ramen. Delicious!!!
そして次の日に飛行機で大阪へ移動し、地元のお野菜を色んな風に料理してくれるお店でお友達とディナー。これまた美味しかったー！！
Then, I flew to Osaka the next day and had a very good dinner with a friend at a restaurant where they serve local vegetables in varieties of ways. It was good!!! 
ディナーの後は、理輝に会うために電車で京都へ移動。
Then, I took a train to Kyoto to meet Riki.
京都では２泊。でも理輝は忙しかったので、一日はお友達と京都の美しい所を散策して、美味しいランチと甘い物を堪能しました！京都は素晴らしいレストランがいっぱい！！！大きくて強靭な胃が欲しい。。。
I stayed in Kyoto for two nights. However, Riki was busy, so I spent a day with a friend visiting beautiful places in Kyoto and enjoyed wonderful lunch and sweets. Kyoto has so many amazing restaurants. I wished I had a BIG strong stomach!
京都で週末を楽しんだ後、沢山お土産、甘い物を買って新幹線に乗り込みました。
After enjoying the weekend in Kyoto, I bought many souvenirs, mostly sweets to take home and got on a Shinkansen (high-speed railway.)
あまりにも久し振りで最後に新幹線に乗ったのがいつだったか思い出せませんでした。京都から東京までおよそ２時間のとっても静かでスムーズな新幹線の乗車を満喫しました。
It must had been so long that I couldn't remember when was the last time I went on a Shinkansen. I truly enjoyed the quiet and smooth ride of Shinkansen for about two hours from Kyoto to Tokyo.
I got off the Shinkansen at Tokyo station and went to Ochanomizu to have a lunch with a friend. Ochanomizu, this is where I used to go to school a little over 30 years ago when I was very young.
最後に新宿から特急に乗って家に帰りました。短い旅でしたが、とっても祝福された旅でした。
Lastly, I took an express train from Shinjuku to go home. It was a short trip, but it was a blessed one.
