バイオリン4日目。Violin 4th Day

バイオリン練習４日目。めちゃ楽しいですよ。年内はこれで最後のバイオリンの投稿。来年はもっともっと心地の良い音色をお聞かせ出来たらと思います。
The 4th day of my violin practice.  I am truly enjoying it.  This will be the last post of my playing violin this year. Hopefully, I can present you the much much better sound next year. 

バイオリン始めました Started Playing Violin

55歳の誕生日に新しい事を始める事に決めたんです。それで、今までずっとやりたかったバイオリンを選びました。
On my 55th birthday, I decided to start something new and I chose violin which I've always wanted to learn.

これ第一日目そして本当に初めてのバイオリンの練習。もう超興奮でした。こんな超ド初心者にバイオリンを貸してくれた優しい友達に感謝。ひたすらA線を弓の端から端を使って弾く練習。

This is my first day and my very first violin practice.  I was so excited.  Thanks to my generous friend who let someone like myself, a very beginner borrow his violin.  I just focused on playing A string using one end of the bow to the other.

これを載せるのは超恥ずかしいんですけど。。記録に残す為に載せます。練習第2日目。ちょっとアメージンググレースに挑戦してみちゃいました。前回の投稿は視覚的にちょっとお見苦しかったかと。。今回は聴覚的にお聞き苦しいかと思いますが。。。まあなにせ2日目ですから。。。優しい心で聴いてください。
Posting this video is extremely embarrassing, but I am posting for the record.  This is my second day of practice.  I tried playing Amazing Grace.  I know the previous post was quite disturbing to your eyes and this one could be disturbing to your ears.  But please remember this is my second day, so please listen with grace and mercy.

赤パプリカ Red Paprika

赤パプリカを料理に使う時にその内側の見た目がすごく嫌いなんです。その質感や水ぶくれみたいな内側の感じが何かに似ているといつも思ってて、やっとわかったんです。。。

Whenever I use red paprika for cooking, I don't like the look of its inside.  Its texture and the watery bubbles inside reminds me of something and I finally figured it out.

すみません。。。ちょっとグロテスクな写真で。。。これです！喉の奥に似てるんです！！そう思いませんか？この次赤パプリカを使う時に是非比べてみてください。
Sorry for this gross photo...  But this is it!  It looks like the back of our throat.  Who agrees?  Please compare those two the next time when you use red paprika.

感謝祭 Thanksgiving Day

木曜日、アメリカは感謝祭でした。大抵ローストターキーが焼かれます。

Thursday was Thanksgiving Day in USA.  Most families make roasted turkeys.

ドイツでは感謝祭は祝いません。だから、感謝祭の料理はしませんでした。

There is no Thanksgiving holiday in Germany, so I didn't cook Thanksgiving dinner.

日本にいる理輝からお料理の写真が送られて来ました。感謝祭のお料理を作ったのだと。

We received many food photos from Riki in Japan.  He said he made Thanksgiving dinner.

ターキーの代わりにローストチキンを作ったそうです。美味しそう。盛り付けも上手。作るのなんて超簡単だったよとか言ってるし。。どういうことか。。

He made a roasted chicken instead of a roasted turkey.  It looks so yummy.  Presentation is very nice, too.  And he said it was super easy to cook....  I don't know...

理輝って本当に私よりお料理上手。多分お父さんの遺伝子だな。

Riki cooks so much better than I do.  Maybe he got his daddy's gene.

初雪 First Snowfall of the Season

 月曜日の朝起きたら外は美しい雪景色でした。今年の冬の初めての雪です。でも、ちょっとだけで直ぐに溶けてしまいました。
I woke up to this beautiful snow scenery on Monday.  This was the first snowfall of this winter.  It was so little snow that it melted away quickly.

雪だるまを作るほどの雪はなかったのですが、鼻は出来ました。

Not enough snow to make a snowman, but a nose.

 この写真は10日ほど前に撮りました。空に天使の羽が💕

This photo was taken about 10 days ago.  There was a wing of an angel in the sky💕

レンバッハハウス美術館 Lenbachhaus

土曜日にレンバッハハウス美術館へ行って来ました。芸術センスの良い友達が素敵な写真を撮ってくれました。
I went to Lenbachhaus (art museum) on Saturday.  My friend who has a good artistic sense took a beautiful photo for me.

そしてこちらが私が彼女の為に撮った写真。美しいと言うよりも、この先の尖った物が彼女の上に落ちてきて、彼女が痛い思いをするんじゃないかとドキドキする感じです。。。

And here is a photo I took for her.  This photo is not beautiful but it rather makes me nervous that this sharp-edged object might fall on her and she might get hurt.

あれま。秋子が絵の中に潜り込んだ。。。

Oh no, Akiko sneaked into a painting.

これ誰かに似てるー！誰かわかります？

She looked like someone!  Do you know who?

クレヨンしんちゃんのお母さん。野原みさえちゃんです。

She is a mother of Crayon Shin-chan, a Japanese cartoon series, Nohara Misae.

スーパーにある機械 Machines at a Supermarket

この機械は新鮮なオレンジジュースを作ってくれる機械です。

This machine makes fresh orange juice.

 自分でやります。このボトルで２１個のオレンジを使いました。ボトルのサイズと値段の写真を撮り忘れました。多分750cc位のボトルかと。
It's self-service.  It took 21 oranges to fill up this bottle.  I forgot to take photos of the size of the bottle and the price..

もう一つの機械はこちら。パイナップルの皮を切ってくれる機械。

Another machine is this.  It's a machine to remove the skin of pineapples.

 パイナップルは1.99ユーロ（250円位）

A pineapple was 1.99 euro (abt 2.23 US$)

こんな感じです。面白い。It went like this. It was quite interesting.

パイナップルがこんな感じに出てきました。超便利です！

A pineapple came our like this.  This is so convenient!
