私はあまりスーパーのチラシを見ないのですけど、今日ちょっと見て気がついた事。どの店のどの商品の値段も99セントで終わってる！
I don't usually look at store flyers, but I did today and noticed something. The price of every item in every store ends with 99cents!
そっか、でももしかしたらアメリカ系のスーパーだけかなと思ったのですが、韓国系のスーパーも同じ事してる。
OK, I thought maybe it's just American grocery stores, but the Korean grocery store does the same thing.
え？じゃあ日系スーパーはどうかな？違いましたよー！８で終わっている物が多い！
Then, how about the Japanese grocery stores? It's different! Prices of most items end with number 8.
じゃあ、日本にある日本のスーパーはどうかなー？こちらのスーパーはラッキーナンバー７で終わってる物の値段が多い。他のお店も見て見ましたが、９９で終わっている物は殆どなし。皆さんの国ではどうでしょうかね？なんか面白いですね。
How about the grocery stores in Japan? This store has many items' prices ending with lucky number "7" I looked at a few other stores' ads and hardly found anything ending with number 99. How about it in your country? I find this quite interesting.

アメリカのスーパーは、ほぼ９９だね。本当に・・・。
日本は確かに７多い。
でも日本は消費税が8％だからほんとはすごく切り悪いよ。
ひーさん。え？！！日本の消費税８パーセントですか？にゃんと！！！えらく上がったもんですね。ちなみに、私が住んでいるカリフォルニアの消費税は7.5%。日本の方が高いなんて！！！しかも、アメリカは、食品にはたいてい消費税なし。それを考えると、日本の消費者、苦しいですねー。
