Osechi Ryori preparation is prgressing! This is Tatsukuri.
紅白なます。
Daikon(radish) and carrots pickled in vinegar.
たたきごぼう。後でごまを加えます。
Burdock cooked in soy sauce and sugar. Sesame seeds will be added later.
きんとん。 栗もお芋も近くの市場でゲット。
Sweet potatoes and chestnuts. Both bought at a local market close-by.
松前漬け
昆布巻き。鮭のあらを昆布で巻いて圧力鍋で煮ました。骨も昆布もとても柔らかくって食べやすいです。
Salmon bones wrapped in Konbu(kelp) and cooked in a pressure cooker. They are very soft and easy to eat.
Bought soba noodles at a Japanese department store. It's a Japanese tradition to eat SOBA noodle on the last day of the year.
蒲鉾と数の子
Kamoboko(fish cake) and Kazunoko(herring roe)
Datemaki. A sweet rolled omelette.
