コネリアーノ Conegliano

先週はプロセッコと言う発泡ワインのお里、イタリアのコネリアーノに行っていました。

I was visiting Conegliano in Italy,  the home for Prosecco sparking wine last week.

友達のお母さんにイタリアの家庭料理を教えてもらいました。こちらは南瓜のリゾット。

I learned come Italian home cooking from my friend's mom.  This is pumpkin risotto. 

 こちらは、ベーコンとトマトのパスタソースとコウイカとグリンピースのトマト煮。
Here is pasta sauce with bacon and tomato.  The other is cuttlefish with green pea cooked in tomato sauce.

そして勿論ティラミス。どれも美味しかったです。

Of course, not to forget Tiramisu.  They were all delicious.

犬はここ A Dog Is Here

 ほら。犬だよ。犬！

Do you see a dog?!  A dog!

 ショッピング街に意地悪っぽい顔。

Mean face in a shopping arcade.

色々色々！！ Colors Colors!!

 街の中は黄色や紅やオレンジや緑やいろんな色にあふれています。

The city is filled with many colors like yellow, red, orange, green and so on.

もうとにかく美しい！

 It's just so amazingly beautiful.

 青空と黄色い葉っぱがとても綺麗で、昨日の残り物さえも素晴らしく美味しくなりました。
The blue sky and yellow leaves were so beautiful and it made even the leftovers from yesterday tasted wonderful.

 ついついいっぱい写真を撮りたくなっちゃう。

I cannot stop taking photos.

 日が落ちるちょっと前の紅葉はまたさらに綺麗。

The autumn colors right before the sunset is even more beautiful.

ポンペイ Pompeii

ガイドさんについてポンペイ遺跡を歩く。

We joined the guided tour of Pompeii.

 

 

もしも歴史が好きな人であればこの場所大好き。でも、私みたいに歴史にちっとも興味のない人にとってはちとつまらない。。私は仁王立ちして、「皆さん早く歩きましょうよ〜！」と皆んなを待っていた。

If you like history, you would love this place.  But someone like myself who doesn't care about history at all find it a bit boring.  I was standing here and waiting for people thinking, "come on people, move!"

私がここで一番気に入ったのは、こんなスマイルマークのついた石。あちこちにいっぱいあったんだよ。昔の人もスマイルマーク好きだったのかな？
What I liked most at this place was those stones with smiley marks.  There were so many of them.  Maybe ancient people also liked smiley marks!?

アマルフィ海岸 Amalfi

とにかく海岸線が綺麗でした。海の色もとても綺麗でした。

The coastal line was just gorgeous.  The color of the ocean was so beautiful.

狭い道は観光バスや車が時に詰まってました。

The road was so narrow that buses and cars were jammed at times.

こんな所に家を建てるなんてすごい。

It's amazing how they built houses in such place.

ナポリ Naples

 先ずはナポリの港でこの巨大なクルーズ船にびっくり。

First of all, I was quite amazed by the size of this huge cruise ship.

このビルの向こうにも見えます。ビルよりも高い！
You can see the cruise ships behind buildings.  They are taller than buildings.

私のナポリの印象はちょっとごちゃごちゃ。渋滞、落書き、維持不足、整理不足。。

My impression of Naples was chaos.  Traffics, graffiti, not well maintained, not so organized etc.

 でも食べ物は美味しかったですよー！

But the food was good!

ピザはナポリからだそうな。。

Pizza is originated from Naples.

このショッピングアーケードはミランのと全く同じ？！でした。
This shopping arcade was exactly as same as the one in Milan.  I think..
