最近スーパーでよく見かけるこの機械は何をするものだと思いますか？

雹が。。。 Hailstones..

青空の下ランチを楽しんで家に帰って来た午後3時。なんとこんなサプライズ。。外にいなくて良かったーと思った反面、外に出て傘を逆さに持って雹を集めれば良かったと。。楽しかっただろうな〜っと。。でも友達が一緒に居たんだよね。。。だから。。。

After enjoying lunch under the blue sky, I got this special surprise shorty after I came back home around 3pm.  I was glad that I wasn't outside, but now I am thinking I should have gone out to collect hailstones by holding umbrella upside-down.  It would have been so much fun, but my friend was watching this with me...so...

宝箱 Treasure Chest

主人がレーゲンスブルグへ仕事に行って、お土産にこれをもらって帰って来ました。レーゲンスブルグはミュンヘンの北にある街で、車で１時間半くらいかかります。

My husband went to Regensburg for work and came back home with this gift.  Regensburg is a city north of Munich and it takes about an hour and a half by car.  

箱の上には「Schatzkiste = 宝箱 」って書いてあります。

Written on the box is "Schatzkiste" meaning "treasure chest."

 お土産はそのレーゲンスブルグで醸造されたビールのサンプラーでした。

The gift was a sampler of beer brewed in Regensburg.

８種類ものビールが入っていましたよ。沢山お酒が飲めるお客様が来たときに 一気に全部開けましょう。そしたら、ビールのテースティングが出来て楽しいかな。で。。そんなお友達はいつ来るかなー？あ。。大勢人を呼べばいいのか！

Eight different kinds of beers were in the box.  I am thinking of opening them all at once when I have a guest who can drink a lot of alcohol.  Then, I could do beer tasting and it will be fun.  Now, when would this kind of friend come?  Oh, I just need to invite many people!

青空 Blue Sky

長い長い憂鬱な天気のすえ、昨日やっと超久しぶりに雲ひとつない青空でに恵まれました！
We were finally blessed with clear blue sky yesterday after so many days of depressing weather.

私はあまりの嬉しさに跳ねました。

I jumped for joy.

 そして、お友達と散歩に出ました。

And I went out for walking with a friend.

 嬉しいからなんでも楽しみました。

I was so happy that I enjoyed everything.

 これ最高でした。

This was super comfortable!

コーヒーブレイク。ここのケーキは美味しい！！

We stopped for coffee.  Cakes from this cafe is delicious!!

 この自転車見たらクスクス笑いが。

This bicycle made me giggle.

だってこんな風に見えたんだもん。

Because it looked like this to me.

アウアードゥルト Auer Dult

アウアードゥルトとは年に３回開催されるマーケットと移動遊園地。私の興味を養ってくれるものが沢山ありました。
Auer Dult is an annual market and fair that takes place three times a year.  There were plenty of things that fed my curiosity.

マーケットはこの素敵なマリアヒルフェ教会の隣で催されます。

It's held by a beautiful church called Mariahilfkirche.

 

この背の高〜い教会はネオゴシックスタイル建築で、それは色んな学校や大学の建築にも使われたらしいよ。
This tall church was built in Neo-Gothic style and the same style seems to be used for many schools and universities.

他の食べ物もたくさんありましたが、なぜか甘いものの写真ばかり撮った私。。。勿論ソーセージにビールにプレッツェルもありました！
Somehow, I only took pictures of sweets, but there were much much more food.  And of course, sausages, beer and pretzel!

 
子供達の乗り物やゲームやらも沢山ありました。
 There were many rides and games for children.

素敵な陶器が沢山ありました。大好きでずっと前から欲しかったこのポーランドの陶器を買おうか迷ったんですけど、ポーランドではずっと安いと聞いたので買いませんでした。でもいつポーランドへ行くの？って感じですけど。。

There were so many nice potteries.  I was so tempted to buy one of those Polish stoneware that I liked and had been wanting to buy, but I didn't because I was told it's much cheaper in Poland.  Do we have any plan to go to Poland?  Not that I know of...

 

綺麗で良質の毛糸で使られたラグ。Rugs made with beautiful quality yarns.

 めっちゃ色んな種類のブラシ。面白いのがいっぱいあった。

So many varieties of brushes.  It was simply so interesting.

 すごく沢山面白いパズルがあって、欲しかったなー。。。

He had so many different puzzles and I was so tempted to buy....

 とにかく、台所用品から下着まで。ありとあらゆるものがありました。

There were all sorts of things from kitchen goods to underwear.

 骨董品も沢山ありましたー。There were many antiques, too.

沢山ある骨董品の中、このテーブルの下のクズが入った箱の中に一つ素敵で値段もそこそこのお気に入りを見つけました。
Amongst of so many antiques, I found one I like which was nice and reasonably priced in a box filled with junks under this table.

それがこのビンテージイタリアフィレンツェの金塗りのトレイです。ゴージャスでしょ？５ユーロでした。ここでも他に欲しい物があって買いたい誘惑にかられたけど、誘惑に負けずに我慢我慢。自制心！骨董市での宝探し大好き。

That's this Vintage Italian Florentine gilded wooden serving tray.  Isn't this gorgeous?  It was five Euro.  Here again, I was tempted to buy other things I wanted, but I didn't yield to the temptation.  Self-control!!  I love treasure hunting at antique markets.

お友達続報 Update on My Friend

土曜日にやっとお日様がキラキラ射しました。お友達は一日中太陽を満喫。

We finally had sunshine on Saturday.  My friend really enjoyed the Sun all day long.

 日曜日は雲ひとつない快晴。午前中お友達はかなり汗をかいていました。
Sunday was a beautiful day with no cloud at all.  My friend was sweating a lot in the morning.

私が午後お出かけしている間に、お友達はさよならも言わずにいなくなってしまいました。寂しいですねー😢
My friend was gone without saying good-bye to me while I was out in the afternoon.  I miss my friend....😢
