今週はたけちゃんと義理の両親が実家に滞在していました。火曜日と水曜日、１泊２日のツアーに参加して奈良と高野山へ行ってきました。なんと泊まった場所はお寺の宿坊。面白い体験でした。T.K. and his parents came to visit us here this week. On Tue. & Wed., we joined a 1N/2D tour to Nara and Mt. Kohya. We stayed at a lodge at a temple. It was very interesting experience.
お食事はもちろん精進料理。The meals were, of course, Shojin Ryori.
お部屋はとっても地味と言うか古い。 The room was very basic or I should say old.
高野山に来たらここ「奥の院」。A must-visit place at Mt. Koya,"Okunoin."
沢山の墓碑、慰霊碑などがありました。日本史の中に出て来るとても有名な人の墓も沢山！そんな中、目をひいたのは、ロケット産業の会社が建てた、ロケット型の社墓。There were so many gravestones, monuments and memorials there. So many famous people's names in Japanese history were found among them. Most interesting one was the rocket shaped monument built by a company that makes parts for rockets.
