今日からいよいよ３月ですね。昨日オシロイバナの種を蒔きました。元気に育って沢山きれいな花を咲かしてくれるといいな〜。ところで、この花の名前がとても面白いので由来をネットで調べてみました．「種子を押しつぶすとおしろい状の白粉が現れるのでオシロイバナといいますが、花が夕方の４時頃から咲くので英語ではFour O'clock Flower(午後４時の花？！）という」そうです。なるほど。
