アフォガート Affogato

最近の私のお気に入りの飲み物。アフォガートです。濃いコーヒーをこれまた最近のお気に入りの水牛のミルクアイスクリームの上にかけたドリンク/デザートです。イタリア人の友達が教えてくれたんですが、アフォガートとは溺れたという意味だそうです。アイスクリームがコーヒの中で溺れたってことかな。

This is my favorite drink lately.  It's Affogato.  It's a drink/dessert that I poured very strong coffee over Buffalo milk ice cream which also is my favorite lately.  A Italian friend told me that Affogato means drowned.  I assumed that the ice cream is drowned in coffee.
