新年快楽。昨日は旧正月だったので中国人のお友達を招いて一緒にお祝いをしました。
Happy Chinese New Year. Yesterday was Chinese New Year, so we invited a Chinese friend and celebrated it together.
そして初めてローストダックに挑戦。まずは鴨に塩、胡椒、五香粉を。
And we tried roasting a duck for the first time. A duck was seasoned with salt, pepper and five spices first.
鴨のお腹の中に入れる調味料を準備。
We prepared the seasoning that goes inside cavity.
Green onion, garlic and ginger was fried with oil to bring out the flavor and mixed with other seasonings. Then, the mixture was put into cavity and the duck went into an oven.
鴨さんは全部で1時間半ちょっと焼かれました。
The duck was rotated a little over one hour and a half.
出来上がり〜!なかなかいい感じに焼けました。
It's done! The duck was roasted quite nicely.
皮はカリカリで、お肉は柔らかくてジューシーでいいお味でした。初めてなのにかなりいい出来でした。今回はシーズニングをつけてからマリネする時間が無かったのですが、次回は少し時間を置いてから焼いたら、もっと美味しくなる事間違いなし!
The skin was crispy, the meat was very tender, juicy and tasted really good. It was quite well done for the first time. We didn't have time to marinate the meat after seasoning this time, but if we would marinate it a bit longer next time, I am sure it will taste even better!
鴨さんはオーブンの中でこんなに沢山の油を流して痩せました。😜
The duck shed a lot of oil and lost some weight.😜
