青のりと海塩 Green Seaweed & Sea Salt

最近青のり海塩にはまっています。こちらは、In-N-Out Burgerのフライドポテト。これにも青のり海塩をかけて食べたら美味しい！ちなみにポテトの上にある物は、パンの代わりにレタスで包まれたハンバーガー。プロテインスタイルと言って注文するとこれがきます。

I am hooked on green seaweed sea salt.  This is french fries from In-N-Out Burger.  I sprinkled green seaweed sea salt over it and it tasted delicious!!  The food above the french fries is a hamburger wrapped in lettuce.  When you order Protein Style at In-N-Out, you get this.

今日の晩ご飯はリブアイのステーキ225g, 700円。ポテトの代わりにカボチャ。
 This was our dinner tonight.  Rib eye steak and pumpkin instead of potato.

デザートは抹茶アイスきな粉かけ黒豆のっけ。美味しかったー！
For dessert, green tea ice cream topped with soybean powder and sweet black bean.  Yummy!

編み物クラスとデッサンクラス Crochet Class & Dessin Lesson

只今5足目の靴下カバーを編んでいます。お友達も作りたいと言うので、今週は我が家で編み物クラスを開きました。お昼は皆んなで持ち寄り。今週は沢山の笑いと美味しい食べ物で満ちた1週間でした。

I am crocheting now the fifth pair of room shoes. Friends said they wanted to learn, so I hosted crochet lessons this week at my house.  Lunch was potlucks. This week was filled with a lot of laughter and good food. 

今日は友達がデッサンのクラスをしてくれました。1時間のクラスの後に分かった事は。私の集中力は長続きしない事。 手より口ばかり動いてました。 レッスンは楽しかったー！

Today, my friend gave us a dessin class. What I learned after one hour of drawing class was that my attention span is very short.  I moved my mouth much more than I moved my hands.  The lesson was really fun. 

卓球台 Ping Pong Table

中国人のたけちゃんは卓球が好き。日本人の私も卓球は好き。必然的にチャン家には１５年以上前から卓球台がいつもありました。でも２年前この家に越してくる時に以前持っていた卓球台はあげてしまいました。今年になって男性群がまたまた卓球台を買う事に決めて早速買ってしまいました。応接間は卓球部屋とかしてしまいました。
My hubby who is a Chinese loves Ping Pong.  I am a Japanese who likes to play ping pong.  Therefore, we, Chan family always used to have ping pong table in the house since fifteen years ago.  However, we gave away the ping pong table when we moved to this house two years ago.  As the new year started, boys decided to buy a new ping pong table and bought it right away.  Our formal living dining turned into ping pong play room.

啓安とお父さんが対戦をする時は、お父さんが勝ったら啓安がお父さんに２分間肩を揉む。啓安が勝ったらお父さんが啓安に２ドル払うと言うわけです。今のところお父さんが肩を揉んでもらう回数の方が啓安がお金を稼ぐよりも多いみたいです。(^O^)_

When Joshua and daddy play, if daddy wins, Joshua has to give daddy 2min. shoulder massage; if Joshua wins, daddy has to give him two dollars.  Daddy seems to be getting more massage than Joshua earning some money so far. (^O^)

 テレビを見ている時に何もしないで見ていられない。だから編み物を始めました。これは何になるでしょうか？クイズ簡単過ぎたかな？
I cannot watch TV without doing anything at the same time, so I started crocheting.  What do you think this is going to be?  Is this quiz too easy?

今週から会社と学校が始まりました。2週間振りに家に１人。朝の片付けを終えた後でゆっくり一人朝食を楽しみました。これも良いなー。
Boys went back to work and school this week.  I am home alone after two weeks.  I enjoyed a good breakfast alone after cleaning up all the morning messes.  It was nice.

理輝が２１歳 Riki is 21

理輝が２１歳になりました。お誕生日おめでとう。

Riki turned 21.  Happy Birthday, Riki!

可愛い赤ちゃんだったなー。髪の毛がいつもフワフワ立っていました。

He was a very cute baby.  His hair was always fluffy and standing up.

A Happy New Year, 2016.  Hope you will continue visiting Chan Family blog this year.  Our very first meal of this year was OSHIRUKO, red bean soup with Mochi (sweet rice cake.)

大晦日にお節を頂きました。塩焼きブリがおいしかった。

We had Osechi, traditional Japanese New Year foods last night.  Grilled yellowtail was delicious.

２０１５年の食べ納めはやっぱり年越し蕎麦でしょう。

The last meal in 2015 was Toshikoshi Soba.
