花盛りー！In Bloom~!

色んな色のマツバギクが咲いています。オレンジ、ピンク、赤に黄色。

Different colors of ice plants are blooming.  Orange, pink, red and yellow.

 この花を見た事をある人は少ないでしょうねー。何だと思いますか？これは小豆の花です。
Many of you probably have never seen this flower before.  What do you think this flower is?  It's a red bean flower.

 これはアロエの花。夜空に開いた花火みたいですね。

This is Aloe flower.  It looks like a firework in the night sky.

 こちらはホウレンソウの花。This is spinach flower.

 これはルッコラの花。This is arugula flower.

 これは紅はこべ。雑草ですけどその花はオレンジ色でとおーーっても可愛らしい。
This is scarlet pimpernel.  It's a weed, but its orange flowers are so cute!

こちらは芽を出したばかりの赤ビーツです。

This is red beetroots just starting to sprout.

３役ウォーマー Three-Way Warmer

 こちらが今朝仕上がったばかりの３役ウォーマー。

This is the three-way warmer just completed this morning.

 これが一番良くある使い方。

This is the most common way to use.

 このようにも使えます。腕が寒い時にねー。まるで身体の部分なしのセーターを着ているみたい。(^O^)
This warmer could be also used this way, when your arms are cold.  It's like wearing a sweater without body part!!  (^O^)

そして、マフラー代わりにもなります。２つあるので、一つは主人、子供もしくはお友達とシェア。脚に付けたウォーマーを首に巻きたいかは別として。。。
And this could be used as a scarf.  Since it's a pair, I wear one and the other could be shared with my husband, kids or my friends.  Setting aside the question of whether or not we want to wear the warmer as a scarf after they are being used for legs...

私のお気に入り商品 My Favorite Product

これが私のお気に入り商品。毎日愛用しているこれは何でしょう？

This is my favorite product.  I love it and I use it every day.  Guess what this is?

以前はこれを使っていたんですが、よしあから借りていたので返却。

I used to use this one before, but I had to return it to Joshua since it belonged to him.

で。。これをアマゾンで買いました。でも、でか過ぎてベッドの中で身動きとれず良く眠れず、返品。

Then, I bought this from Amazon.   This was huge and I couldn't move in my bed at all and I couldn't sleep well,  so I returned it.

それで、この商品を日本で購入。

Then, I bought this product in Japan.

柔らかくって、抱き心地がとっても良くって、御陰様で毎晩ぐっすり寝られます。

It's very soft and so comfortable to hug onto and helps me sleep well every night.

気持ちのよい朝 Beautiful Morning

 空は真っ青、清々しい空気。南カリフォルニアでは当たり前だけど、決して感謝を忘れてはいけない、とっても気持ちのよい朝。薔薇の花を切ってきました。
The sky is blue and the air is crisp.  It's another beautiful morning in S. California, typical here, but  should never be taken for granted.  I cut some rose flowers.

 キッチンがとっても明るくなります。

The rose flowers brighten up the kitchen.

ダイニングの横のテーブルの上の飾りを替えてみました。お友達に頂いた美しい敷物の上に、台湾で買ったガラスの羊ちゃん家族、イスタンブールで買った色鮮やかな器、そしてインドネシアで買ったペイントの素敵な額。家の中にいくつか自分の好きな物や思いでの品を飾ると、気分が上昇。
I changed a few decorations on top of the cupboard next to the dining table. I put five glass sheep bought in Taiwan, a colorful bowl dish purchased in Istanbul, and a beautifully hand-painted photo frame on the beautiful table runner given by a friend.  Placing a few items that I like and have fond memories in the house lifts up my spirit.


余談ですが、羊= sheep は沢山いても sheep, sheepsにはなりません。あ〜。。英語って。。
Why sheep is always sheep, not sheeps, no matter how many sheep there are?  (-_-;  ...English....

復活祭と熱気球 Happy Easter & Hot Air Balloon.

 今日はイースター（キリストの復活をお祝いする日）でした。

Today was Easter, the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  

 教会へ向かう道。。。　On the way to the church....

 熱気球がいくつも住宅街へ。。。いつもはワイナリー界隈の上を飛んでいるのに。。
Many hot air balloons were flying toward the residential area, which usually fly over the winery area.

 そのうちの一つが交差点の角の空き地に着陸。他のは何処に着陸したんだろう？

One of them landed in the empty lot next to an intersection.  I had to wonder where others had landed?

おまけ：またまた皆既月食見ました！土曜日の早朝。
Bonus:  I watched Total Lunar Eclipse again in the very early morning on Saturday.

薔薇が咲いたー♪ Roses Are Blooming♪

昨日庭に出たときはこんなに沢山咲いていなかったのに、今日庭に出たら、沢山の美しい薔薇の花に驚かされました。
Yesterday when I went out to the garden, there weren't so many roses blooming, but when I went out today, I was surprised by so many beautiful roses.

 iPhoneの写真では、私が目で見ている本当の薔薇の美しさを伝える事は難しいですね。
By the photos taken by iPhone, it's difficult to share the true beauty of the roses that I see with my eyes.

夕焼けの色のようなこの薔薇は私のお気に入り。

This rose with the color of sunset is my favorite.
