I started the process of making natural homemade yeast about a week ago. The ingredients are organic apples, grapes, honey and water.
A few days later, I started to see bubbles and can hear the sound of bubbles' popping.
I used organic pear, water and honey with this one.
酵母が良い感じになって来たので、こちらの酵母パンに挑戦してみる事に。
The yeast was growing nicely, so I decided to make some bread with this natural fruit yeast.
朝にパン生地を捏ねました。
I made the dough in the morning.
夕方には、こんなにも発酵していました。
By evening, the dough rose nicely.
This was my first experiment and I was quite skeptical about this yeast, but I was so happy when I saw this picture.

じゃじゃーん。焼けました〜！満足満足！
Tadah~! Just baked! And I was so pleased with the result.

あの酵素だけで、パン生地があんなに発酵するなんて信じられない。そりゃー嬉しいですよね。
それにしても酵母で作ったパンってどんな味なんだろう。。

パンは油分を全く使っていないのに、しっとりしていて、甘みもあって、自然な感じです。イースト臭くないです。どちらかと言うと、サワードウブレッドがありますよね。。そんな感じかな？酵母はこの間のとは違うんですよ。

ReplyDeleteThanks for telling me about this. I'm covered up with organic apples. This area has lots of apple trees and friends and neighbors let them alone and don't spray them. I've canned several already and a few days ago picked 2 more buckets full. I've got plenty of honey, too. Eve Q.
