修繕　Mending


２０年以上前にインディアナの小さな店で買ったこの鍋つかみ。シミもあり古くなってきたので、ちょっと新しい布をかぶせて修繕しました．歳をとっていた鶏が若返ったみたいです．
I bought this pot holder in a small shop in Indiana 20 years ago. It got so much stains and old, so I used new fabric and mended it. Now an old hen became look much younger!!

    I had a hen potholder that got so stained, but I also kept it to remake it or something. Never did, and now I don't have it anymore. But I'm glad someone else has the same compulsions I have!
