エコvs心地よさ Eco vs. Comfort

外干しのジーパンて硬いんだよね。。。でも乾燥機を回すよりとてもエコロジー。でもやっぱり心地よさだな。。。
Jeans dried outside get really coarse.... but much more ecology than running a dryer. I choose comfort.



故意にした訳じゃあないんだけど、またまた食のアート。

こちら、焼きなすのようにして作った、焼きパプリカ。おいしいよ！

バナナ２ Banana2

新しい住人バナナちゃん２がやって来ました。『バナナ２が、ご飯を食べてるところです。』
New resident, Banana 2 has arrived to her new home. " She is eating her food."

『チョコがバナナ２を、追いかけている所です。』
"Choco is chasing after Banana 2."

『バナナ２が、見つけたものを、チョコがうばおうと、しているところです。』
"Choco is trying to take away what Banana 2 found."

『最初は、バナナ２が、小屋の下にいっぱなしだったし、チョコが目の所をつついたから、心配だったけど、少ししたら出てきて仲が良かったのでのでホッとしました。』
"At first, Banana 2 didn't want to come out of the cage and Choco poked her eyes, so I was worried. But she was out of the cage after a while and getting along with each other, so I felt so relieved."

野菜 Veggie

この日なぜか野菜が私に話しかけてきた。野菜たちを生かさずにはいられなかった。。。
Veggies were talking to me that day... I had to help them come alive...

和菓子 Japanese sweet

今日のおやつはくし団子。みたらしとこしあん。今回は水の代わりに絹ごし豆腐を白玉粉に混ぜて作りました。あまり豆腐の味はしませんでしたが栄養価アップでいいですね。美味しくって、あっという間に食べてしまいました。
Today's snack was sweet rice balls on a stick with sweet soy sauce and red bean paste. I mixed Tofu into sweet rice flower instead of water this time. We didn't taste Tofu that much but the nutritious value goes up and nice this way. They were so good and were gone in no time.

チョコバナナ Choco & Banana

鶏のチョコバナナちゃん達の新しい情報。チョコちゃん、大きくなったでしょ！
This is the update on the hens, Choco & Banana. Choco has grown so big!!


バナナちゃんは？それが。。行方不明。鶏小屋の外に出て遊んでいた時にいなくなったそう。その時小屋の周りに囲いはあったのですが、屋根付きではありませんでした。。。だから、今はご覧のようなものを作ったそうです。これで安全だね。
Banana? Well, she has been missing. She was playing outside the cage and got lost. There was a fence around it, but there wasn't any roof at that time. Now such thing was built around the cage... for Maximum security!!

庭から From our garden

テメキュラも朝晩は気温が１５度以下とずいぶん涼しくなりました。庭のぶどうが甘くなりました。ニラもずいぶんたくさん採れたので炒め物にしました。いよいよ秋だな！
It's getting much cooler in Temecula in the morning and evening. The lowest temperature goes below 60F. The grapes in our garden is sweet now. I got good amount of chinese chives for stir fry. The autumn has come!
