ビーツの入った野菜ジュースを冷凍した物です。ちょっと前から主人が健康の為に野菜ジュースを作って飲んでいます。特にこのビーツが血圧を下げるのに効果があるそうです。ジューサーは掃除が大変なので、週に１回まとめて作り、小分けして冷凍しています。
a pack of frozen vegetable juice with beets.  My husband started making vegetable juice and drinking it for his health.  Especially the juice made with beet seems to help lower blood pressure.  Cleaning a juicer is a little troublesome, so once a week, he makes enough juice for a week and package them into small portions and freeze them.

春チョコ Springtime Truffles

こんな可愛らしい、春っぽいチョコレートを頂いちゃいました。See's CANDIES社のものです。春って良いですね。全てが新鮮に見えて、生きるエネルギーみたいなものを感じますよね。私は春が一番好きかな〜。もちろん秋！も好きですけど（秋子なんだし）。。皆さんはどの季節が一番好きかしら？
I received such a pretty Springtime Truffle gift.  It's from See's CANDIES.  I love Spring.  Everything looks so fresh and gives me the feeling of vitality for life.  I like Spring the best maybe...  Of course, I love autumn, too! やるっきゃない！ Just Do It!

こちらはお琴の楽譜です。先週から新しい曲を始めました。まずは字が多いと目でその字を追うのに一苦労。そして私のちょっと古くてゆっくりになった頭の回路ではその情報を分析するのにやや時間がかかります。分析された情報が末端器官の指に伝わるのにはさらに時間がかかります。あ〜〜。。とにかくやるっきゃないんです。とにかく練習に練習ですね！

This is the music sheet for KOTO.  I started working on a new song last week.  First of all, it is not easy for my eyes to follow the writings(as you can see, Koto's notes are written in Chinese characters) when there are so many characters.  And it takes a little extra time to process all the information, since my circuit in my head is getting a little older and slower.  And it takes even longer for the processed information to finally reach the end user, my finger.  Ah~~~.  Just do it.  Practice, practice and more practice!!

ガソリン価格 Gasoline Price

こちら昨日私がガソリンを入れた時の価格です。日本式にするとだいたい１ℓ８０円。日本は今１ℓ１３０円くらい。だから日本と比べたらまだ安いですよね。皆さんの州もしくは国と比べたらどうでしょうか？

This is the gasoline price I paid yesterday.  $3.679/gallon is about 80yen/liter.  The gas price in Japan is about 130yen/liter which is about $5.97/gallon.   So, gasoline is much cheaper here.  How about the price in your state or country?

学校見学 Campus Tour

土曜日に家族でカリフォルニア州立大学サンディエゴ校を見学に行ってきました。啓安はこの大学に入学願書を出しています。まだ結果は出ていませんがとりあえずどんなところか見に行ってきました。来ていた人は多くが高校１、２、３年生。今頃見に行ってる私たちはちょっとのんびりし過ぎ？って感じでしたが。。在校生が色々説明してくれたり質問に答えてくれたりしたので行って良かったと思います。さて、どうかな？彼は最終的にどこの大学に行くでしょう？

On Saturday, we went to visit UCSD to take a campus tour.  Joshua has applied to this school.  We haven't received the result, but we went to take a look of this school anyway.  Most of the students who joined the tour were freshmen, sophomores and juniors.  We are one of those who are a little laidback.... Current students guided the tour and answered all our questions and I think the tour was worth the time.  Now, let's see which university Joshua will be going?
