レゴランドカリフォルニア♡ Legoland California♡

先週私の大好きな場所、レゴランドへ行って来ました！

Last week, I went to one of my favorite places on earth, Legoland!

興味のない人もいるかもしれませんが、沢山のレゴの像の写真を楽しんでください。
Some of you may not be interested, but I hope you enjoy looking at many pictures of LEGO sculptures.

 こちらでレゴの像を製作。This is where they build Lego sculptures.

私が見たもの。What I Saw.

可愛いキャラだよね。

今の季節庭はカラフルなお花でいっぱい！もうすぐバラも咲いて更にカラフルになりそう。

My garden is filled with colorful flowers during this season.  Soon roses will start to bloom and add more colors.

美味しいラーメン食べたい！Want To Eat Very Good Ramen!

フードジャーナリストのお友達がいます。彼は毎日彼のフェイスブックページにとおーーっても美味しそうな食べ物の写真を投稿します。これちらはラーメンの写真。美味しそうでしょー、特に卵！この写真をしばらく眺めていたら、卵とネギと肉と麺の他に何かが見えてきました。私に見えて来たもの、貴女にも見えて来たかしら？

I have a friend who is a food journalist.  He posts SO many yummy looking food pics every day on his FB page and I enjoy looking at them.  Here is a Ramen noodle picture.  I looks delicious, especially the egg!  I was staring at this picture for a while, then I started to see something else besides the egg, green onion, meat and noodle.  Do you see what I see?

出発前にフローズンヨーグルト。美味しかった！

We had frozen yogurt before his departure.  It was delicious!

啓安２３歳 Joshua Is 23.

 ３月８日。今日は啓安の２３回目のお誕生日でした。時が経つのは早い！

Today, March 8th was Joshua's 23rd birthday.  Time flies so fast!

 家族全員一緒にお誕生日を祝い出来て嬉しー！

So happy that we were all together to celebrate his birthday!

 啓安のリクエストのオレオクッキーチーズケーキを焼きました。

I baked an Oreo cookie cheesecake that was requested by Joshua.

前回投稿した大きな卵の中には黄身が２つありました。

There were two egg yolks inside the big egg in my last post.

卵 Eggs

私はたいてい卵をファーマーズマーケットで買います。だから、１パックに入っている卵のサイズはまちまちで色も違います。今週買った卵の中にこんな大きな卵が２つ！１個が９０グラムもありました。隣の卵の1.5倍の重さです。去年の鶏インフルエンザ以来アメリカの卵の値段が少し高い気がします。カリフォルニアでは１２個入り１パックが３ドル(340円）位。日本では１０個入り１パックが198円位。全般的に食料品の値段が安い中、卵だけは日本が安いかな。
I usually buy eggs at farmer's market, therefore a pack of eggs comes in different sizes and colors.  These two BIG eggs came in a pack I purchased this week.  Each of there weighed 90 grams (3.15oz) which was about 1.5 times bigger than the eggs next to them.  I noticed the price of eggs in USA went higher last year due to the bird flu and it doesn't seem to come down much ever since.  A dozen of eggs in California costs about three dollars whereas a pack (10 eggs) of eggs costs 198 yen ($1.74) in Japan.  Generally, the price of food is much lower in USA, but when it comes to the price of eggs, it seems cheaper in Japan.
